Privacy, explained clearly.

How BubbleChatly handles merchant information, social links, and storefront interactions.

Who operates BubbleChatly

BubbleChatly is provided by Developer Ravi, based in Nepal. This policy covers the BubbleChatly Shopify app and its app website. It does not cover the independent social platforms that merchants link to.

For privacy questions and requests, contact support@developerravi.com.

Information we process

  • Shopify installation and authentication: shop domain, installation identifier, access scopes, access and refresh tokens, and session expiration. Shopify authentication can also supply merchant or staff user ID, name, email, locale, and account-owner status, which our session storage can retain.
  • Settings you provide: social platform choices, icons, URLs, labels, visibility preferences, banner text, and link behavior. These settings are saved in an app-installation metafield on Shopify. A URL may include the phone number or email address you choose to publish.
  • Support correspondence: the email address, store information, screenshots, and messages you choose to send for support.
  • Operational information: hosting and service providers may process IP addresses, request timestamps, browser information, and error logs to deliver and secure the service.

BubbleChatly does not request Shopify customer or order access, read social messages, store payment details, or create shopper profiles. It has no storefront tracking pixels or click analytics.

How we use information

We use installation and session information to authenticate your shop, settings to render your widgets, support messages to resolve requests, and operational information to diagnose problems and protect the service. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

Where applicable, processing is necessary to provide the service you request, maintain its security, and meet legal obligations. You control the links and contact information you publish on your storefront.

Shopper interactions and third parties

Widgets are rendered by Shopify using your saved settings and bundled icons. BubbleChatly does not send a shopper’s page views or clicks to its application server. Clicking a social link navigates to the merchant’s chosen destination; that destination then handles data under its own privacy policy.

Shopify processes app settings, authentication, and storefront delivery. The application’s hosting provider processes server and database information. The app website loads its font from Shopify’s CDN, and the embedded admin app loads Shopify’s App Bridge and UI components. These providers receive the network information needed to serve those resources.

We may disclose information when necessary to comply with applicable law or protect the service. We do not add advertising cookies. Shopify and linked social services may use their own cookies or storage.

Retention and deletion

Active session records are deleted when our server processes Shopify’s authenticated app-uninstalled notification. The shop-redaction notification also deletes remaining session records for that shop. BubbleChatly does not keep a separate copy of your widget settings outside Shopify; Shopify manages the app-installation metafield lifecycle.

Operational logs: Logs are deleted after 30 days.

Database backups: Backups are deleted after 30 days.

Support correspondence: Support correspondence is deleted within 12 months after the request is resolved.

Shopify customer data requests and customer-redaction notifications are authenticated and acknowledged; there are no customer records in BubbleChatly’s application database to export or delete. Contact us about information you separately supplied in support correspondence.

Where data is processed and how it is protected

Our application server and session database are hosted in America. Shopify and other service providers may process information in other countries under their own applicable safeguards. Contact us for information about the providers and transfer arrangements relevant to your request.

We use authenticated Shopify requests and HTTPS for production traffic. Access to app settings is tied to the authenticated shop. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You can edit or remove your links in the app, hide widgets, or uninstall the app through Shopify. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing of your personal information. You may also raise concerns with your local data-protection authority.

Send requests through support. We may need to verify your relationship to the shop before acting. Do not send passwords or access tokens.

Policy updates

We will update this page and its revision date when our data practices change. Material changes will be communicated where required.
